Hypnotherapy Services

Life can throw at us many different challenges and can often leave us with feelings of anxiety, stress, anger and worry. Hypnotherapy allows us to gain a greater personal insight and to find new ways of dealing with problems. It can help us resolve past emotional hurt while learning new strategies to help deal with personal day to day challenges.

During our hypnotherapy session I use modern, safe and effective therapeutic techniques to help you let go of negative mental blocks, improve feelings of self-worth and create new positive habits and behaviours to help you achieve your goals. My clients range from young adults to busy professionals and I tailor each session to your specific issue to help you both right now and in the future. I can also work “content free” meaning that I don’t even need to know the background of your issue, and instead ask your subconscious mind to make the changes that it needs to make.

If you would like to start enjoying life again, I’m ready when you are. Contact me today and take the first step towards positive change.

Hypnotherapy Can Help with Many Conditions

* If you have been diagnosed or believe that you may have one of the conditions starred above, please first consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment before considering hypnotherapy. In certain cases I will require a letter from your doctor to verify that you are suitable for Hypnotherapy.

If your issue is not listed contact me and I will be happy to discuss how I can help. For clients simply seeking to wind down in peaceful surroundings, relaxation therapy is also available.

Alfred Barios PHD conducted a survey of psychotherapy literature which revealed the following therapeutic recovery rates:

Psychoanalysis – 38% recovery after 600 sessions
Behavioural Therapy – 72% recovery after 22 sessions
Hypnotherapy – 93% recovery after 6 sessions.

“It is interesting to note the negative correlation between number of sessions and percentage recovery rate. At first sight this seems paradoxical However, if a form of therapy is truly effective, it should not only increase recovery rate, but also shorten the number of sessions necessary (as well as widen the range of cases treatable).” – Barrios, A. A. (1970). Hypnotherapy: A reappraisal.
