However, when it goes on too long and interferes with our enjoyment of everyday life perhaps it is time to consider seeking help.
Having personally experienced the benefits of hypnotherapy I now work with others to help bring them the change they want. Alfred Barios PHD conducted a survey of psychotherapy literature which revealed the following therapeutic recovery rates:
Psychoanalysis – 38% recovery after 600 sessions
Behavioural Therapy – 72% recovery after 22 sessions
Hypnotherapy – 93% recovery after 6 sessions.
