“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein
Life can throw at us many different challenges. All of us have experienced feelings of low self worth, anxiety, stress, anger and worry at some time or other. This is quite normal. However, when it goes on too long and interferes with our enjoyment of everyday life perhaps it is time to consider seeking help.
Having personally experienced the benefits of hypnotherapy I now work with others to help bring them the change they want. I believe that hypnotherapy allows us to gain a greater personal insight and to find new ways of dealing with problems. It can help us resolve past emotional hurt and effectively deal with anxiety and stress related issues.
During our hypnotherapy session I use modern, safe and effective therapeutic techniques to help you let go of negative mental blocks, improve feelings of self-worth and create new positive habits and behaviours to help you achieve your goals.

Alfred Barios PHD conducted a survey of psychotherapy literature which revealed the following therapeutic recovery rates:
Psychoanalysis – 38% recovery after 600 sessions
Behavioural Therapy – 72% recovery after 22 sessions
Hypnotherapy – 93% recovery after 6 sessions.
“It is interesting to note the negative correlation between number of sessions and percentage recovery rate. At first sight this seems paradoxical However, if a form of therapy is truly effective, it should not only increase recovery rate, but also shorten the number of sessions necessary (as well as widen the range of cases treatable).” – Barrios, A. A. (1970). Hypnotherapy: A reappraisal.
