When faced with deciding where to put our time and energy, we have to consider it our goal a need or is it a want/desire?
Wants come and go. Sure they make us happy, fill a void for a small time, but it’s our needs that actually make a difference.
Think of when we see a chocolate bar we think “Mmm that looks nice” However, we know that a chocolate bar (aka a want) isn’t a meal, and when we are actually hungry we _need_ a proper meal.
So today, have a think about what you actually need to drive your life forward.
What will make a difference to you?
What do you need to do today that will get you one step closer to your goal?
You may discover that most of what you thought you need was really just a want, and you could go without it. Also when our needs are taken care of we feel more fulfilled that we are on the right path.
