Developing Confidence and Inner Strength

There’s that old quote by Nietzsche “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.”

If we can overcome something that scares us or requires a great amount of personal strengthen then we become mentally stronger.

When we are able to get over our fears and take action, we increase our confidence and develop new strategies to deal with life.

It’s easy to us to sit back, tell ourselves we can’t do something. When we do this we just end up rationalising our own excuses with “I’m not the type of person who does that anyway” “It wasn’t for me” or the best one “There’s always tomorrow!”

If you can develop the confidence to assess your fears with a level head and put it in perspective you will be able to find a way to accomplish your goals.

There is always a solution out there. If you are scared of public speaking you can join a public speaking course. If you fear speaking up or standing up for yourself you can join an assertiveness training course.

Regardless of the fear that you are facing, know 100% that after you overcome it you not only feel better about yourself but you will be growing stronger and able to face the future with more confidence and tenacity.
